THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND INFORMATION ONLY – THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO AWARD WILL BE MADE RESULTING FROM THIS NOTICE Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) requires a contractor to dispose of and recycle oil filled equipment in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement, under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 562112: Hazardous Waste Collection. Small Business size standard is less than $47 million. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the service as described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall provide all services including technical services to dispose of and recycle large oil filled equipment. The Contractor shall perform all services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Interested parties must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM), representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Any interested party may contact Contract Specialist via email at hrcooper@wapa.gov. Any correspondence relating to this synopsis should have “Oil Filled Equipment Disposal" notated in the subject field and shall be emailed to the contract specialist and include the following: Unique Entity ID (UEI) POC’s name, physical address, email address, and telephone number Website address (if applicable) Capabilities Statement Business size This notice does not obligate the Government to solicit for this requirement or award a contract and does not obligate the Government to reimburse interested parties for any costs incurred to prepare or provide a response to this request for information.
