We are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Contractor to supply and install security scanners and x-ray machines. This work will take place at the Montgomery VA Regional Office located at 345 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. It is essential that the building remains secure in accordance with applicable federal and local requirements. All equipment installation shall be performed during normal working hours, from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required The Contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, and equipment required for performance of this contract, including: Two (2) mobile X-ray inspection systems (HI-SCAN 7555si and 5030 or equivalent). Supply and installation of the equipment indicated above. Training and support for end users following installation, including issuance of competency certificates. Two (2) annual PM inspections, including complete operational checks and calibration. A warranty and maintenance plan for all supplied equipment. Coordination of all delivery and installation activities with the Regional Office. The Contractor shall provide all components, wiring, electrical interfaces, patch cables, hardware, software, labor, programming, and testing necessary to ensure full and proper operation of the security screening system. The Contractor shall purchase and install all required equipment and components within 45 days of award.
