Description

Displayed as sanitized plain text from SAM.gov. Retrieved Aug 15, 2026 8:02 PM EDT.

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - West (HCD-W), intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price service contract to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), for the preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair of three (3) government-owned STERRAD plasma sterilizing systems located at Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), Nellis AFB, NV. The specific equipment includes: STERRAD 100NX ALLClear 1-DR DUO (SN: 1047180610) STERRAD NX (SN: 1033142121) STERRAD NX (SN: 1033142119) The proposed Period of Performance is a 12-month Base Year beginning September 1, 2026, with four (4) subsequent 12-month option years. Justification for Sole Source: This requirement is sole-sourced under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Market research has determined that ASP is the only source capable of meeting the Government's needs due to the proprietary nature of the STERRAD diagnostic software, repair algorithms, and replacement parts required to service the equipment. Technical data packages for full and open competition are not available. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who believe they are capable of providing the required manufacturer-certified maintenance may submit a capability statement in accordance with the instructions in the attached Notice of Intent document.
