Description

Displayed as sanitized plain text from SAM.gov. Retrieved Aug 19, 2026 8:09 PM EDT.

This is the U.S. Embassy Riga Pre-Solicitation Notice only. Contractors are required to read the requirements below. No responses are requested by this notice. The U.S. Embassy Riga issues this notice with the intent of giving an opportunity to all interested parties to appropriately prepare for the anticipated Request for quotes (RFQ). This is not a request for proposal; this is for pre-solicitation/informational purposes only. No award will be made based on responses received to this notice. The requirement is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove the existing exterior facade lighting fixtures and install new RGBW LED facade lighting fixtures at the U.S. Embassy Riga, Latvia. U.S. Embassy Riga is currently illuminated by iGuzzini Linealuce B752 facade light fixtures. The Department seeks to replace these fixtures with individually addressable RGBW LED fixtures. To ensure rapid installation, ongoing maintenance, and ready access to materials and skilled labor, it is necessary to procure locally. U.S.-based fabricators are not positioned to service installations in Latvia, and sourcing materials or technical support from the United States would result in unacceptable delays and increased costs. Local procurement will ensure the Embassy can complete the work within the required timeframe and minimize future operational disruptions.
