9/23/2026: This update is to answer 2 questions rececived Question: Once a formal solicitation is issued, will the availability be Geographically restricted to the homeport of the vessels? Answer: USCG does not plan to geographically restrict the drydocks to the homeport of each vessel. 2. Question: What is the minimum draft for the 418 ft vessels? Answer: The minimum draft is 24.5' 9/10/2026: The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is conducting market research for the drydocking of six (6) Pacific Area based Maritime Security Cutters, Large (WMSL) between Fiscal Year 2028 and 2033. The performance period for this contract is from 15 March 2028 to 30 September 2033 with six (6) planned drydocks and one (1) emergent drydock anticipated. The WMSLs are homeport in Alameda CA at 42 Eagle Rd, Alameda, CA and 400 Sand Island Access Pkwy, Honolulu, HI 96819. Refer to attached list of Work Items anticipated.
