Please confirm that we only need to cut brush if it is acting as a ladder fuel. A1. Yes, only cutting brush that acts as a ladder fuel Q2. Is there a certain distance from the drip line that the brush should be cut? A2. There isnżt a definitive spacing, part of this is a case by case basis that depends on items like how tall is the brush? If it were lit on fire would carry up into the crown? Example: a five foot tall brush that is only six inches away from the drip line will need to be cut. Q3. Please also confirm that dead and down material up to 16" diameter should be piled. A3. Only dead and down (under 16" diameter) that acts as a ladder fuel needs to be cut/piled.
