The Department of Veterans Affairs Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) intends to solicit offers for Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Contract Emergency Residential Services (CERS), Medically Enhanced Services, in Clark County, Nevada, in support of the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) program. The purpose of this contract is to provide emergency housing, meals, and medically enhanced supportive services to homeless Veterans in a community-based residential facility, preferably in a home-like environment, located within Clark County, Nevada, including the Las Vegas Valley Area. Services will include short-term residential care with room and board accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; a dedicated full-time, on-site medical case manager (minimum staffing ratio of one case manager per 12 Veterans); three nutritious meals daily plus snacks; laundry facilities; medication management support; and individualized case management focused on housing search, financial planning, and achieving permanent, stable housing placement. The Contractor will not be required to provide detoxification or other hospital-level or licensed care treatment. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Further details will be provided upon release of the solicitation.
