Description

This Sources Sought is issued by VISN 2 Contracting Office in Network Contracting Office 2 for the purpose of collecting information about VA New Jersey Lyons VAMC Mold Remediation Services. The VA is seeking services for a new requirement on or about September 2026 to establish a new service contract. The NAICS code identified for this requirement is 562910 Mold Remediation Services. The requirement is detailed in the Statement of Work (draft) section of this document. Contractors that are able to meet the requirements in the attachment and possess an interest in performing these service, are encouraged to email a capability statement and full information to Contract Specialist, Tiffany Vazquez-Simon at tiffany.vazquez-simon@va.gov, by the posted due date/time. The VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) requires remediation of localized visible mold growth in the Telecom Room (aka Control Room) of Building 10 at the Lyons Campus. Localized areas of heavy mold growth are present on specific portions of wall surfaces, however, the majority of wall surfaces in the room do not exhibit visible mold growth. Visible suspect mold growth was not observed on the floor, ceiling or telecommunications equipment. The objective of this Work Plan is to remove visible mold growth by non-destructive cleaning methods, restore affected surfaces to a visibly clean condition, and verify the effectiveness of the remediation through visual inspection and post-remediation air sampling in order to prepare the room for routine occupancy.
