Presolicitation Synopsis – Portable Generators 1. Point of Contact Cindy 45th Contracting Squadron (45 CONS) 2. Set?Aside Status This requirement will be solicited as a Small Business Set?Aside 3. Applicable Codes PSC: 6115 – Generators and Generator Sets NAICS: 335312 – Motor and Generator Manufacturing Small business size standard: 1,000 employees 4. Description of Requirement The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of five (5) trailer?mounted portable diesel generators ranging from 26 kW to 200 kW. The generators must meet or exceed the Government’s salient characteristics, including: Heavy?duty diesel engines EPA Tier 4 Final emissions compliance Sound?attenuated, weather?resistant, lockable enclosure with coastal corrosion protection Trailer?mounted, pintle?towable configuration with highway?rated axles Multi?voltage selector switch capable of 120/240V single?phase and 120/208V & 277/480V three?phase Integrated double?walled fuel tank Digital control panel, GFCI convenience receptacles, and high?current bus bar terminal connections Minimum power and fuel tank requirements: 26 kW – 50 gallons 36 kW – 75 gallons 60 kW – 100 gallons 100 kW – 150 gallons 200 kW – 250 gallons This acquisition will be solicited as Brand Name or Equal, and all offered products must meet or exceed the salient characteristics to be considered acceptable. 5. Anticipated Acquisition Strategy & Anticipated Award Date Extent of Competition: 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW RFO 6.102-2 Procedure: Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW RFO 12 Contracting Method: RFQ via SAM.Gov Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price IAW RFO 12.104(a) Basis of Award: Best Value The anticipated award date on or about 30 September 2026.
