Description

Displayed as sanitized plain text from SAM.gov. Retrieved Aug 19, 2026 8:09 PM EDT.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation document will be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2023- 06 (eff. 12/04/2023), VAAR Update 2008-37 (eff. 07/28/2023), and Acquisition Policy Flash 23-15 (eff. 07/28/2023). Contractor is required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Vendor quote may be considered non-compliant and rejected if the Contracting Officer is unable to verify registration and certification status. The Contractor shall provide Water Storage Tank Inspection and Maintenance Services for the Alexandria – Veterans Administration Healthcare System Fire Water Storage Complex. This inspection will determine the condition of the coatings, structure, instruments, and cleanliness of each tank as defined to accomplish complete technical reports, contract drawings, specifications, deficiencies discovered, and cost estimates. This will be a Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) contract award that will be awarded to the lowest price offeror. See attached document below: 36C25626R0104_RFP
