Notice of Sources Sought The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services requested, as well as any large businesses. The results from this source sought notice will be used to determine the appropriate set-aside. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price service contract. The SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule is not applicable as the intended contract is for services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for manufacturer (Alertus) authorized service providers with access to OEM parts of the following requirement: Restroration of existing Alertus mass emergency notification and critical communication system including renewed licensing, required system inspection, and installation of vendor provided batteries. Licensing and Support Agreement (ENS) Small Product Code: ENS-SUP-BASIC-S QTY: 1 Annual HPSA Test and Inspection Small Product Code: HPSA-INSPT-S QTY: 1 HPSA Battery 12V100A Product Code: HPSA-BATT12V100A QTY: 2 Statement of Work: The Portland VA medical center is in need of the Restoration of existing Alertus mass emergency notification and critical communication system. To include renewed licensing, required system inspection, and installation of vendor provided batteries. Licensing and Support Agreement (ENS) - Small Annual Basic Tier Support for a Small Site organization. Annual License Renewal Knowledge Base Articles/Documentation Self Training Videos Access to Alertus Community site 8/5 Access to Technical Support Team (Normal Business Hour Support)  1 Annual Customer Assurance Review -Alertus System health check - ENS-SUP-BASIC-S. Period of performance for one year effective 09/15/26 to 09/14/27 FY26 Special funding from VA Emergency Management program. Annual HPSA Test and Inspection - Small Annual HPSA testing and inspection for small deployments (1-5 HPSAs). Includes one day on site and travel. HPSA-INSPT-S Service performance between 9/15/26 to 12/14/26 to facilitate scheduling the inspection. Vendor provided installation of HPSA Battery 12V100A - 12 VOLT 100 AH, GEL TYPE, INTERNAL THREAD (INT) TERMINAL, RECHARGEABLE SLA AGM BATTERY Required Information in Your Response to Sources Sought: In order to be considered a valid source that can impact the set-aside determination of a possible future solicitation, potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to peter.park2@va.gov by below response deadline: 1) Company name, address, and point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and UEI. 2) Please identify your company s size in comparison to the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811210 Electronic and Precision Repair and Maintenance Services. (Base + 4 Option Years) 6) Capabilities Statement addressing the requirements in the Statement of Work to include: References for similar services currently being provided or previously provided at the required service levels as outlined in the Statement of Work. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
