Description

Displayed as sanitized plain text from SAM.gov. Retrieved Aug 15, 2026 8:02 PM EDT.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announces its intention to negotiate and issue a sole source award to America's Poison Centers, 4601 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 630, Arlington, VA 22203 to provide National Poison Data System (NPDS) data for human expose case involving children five years of age and younger for specified consumer product categories. The requirement includes two electronic deliveries of de-identified case-level NPDS data covering calendar year 2026, quarterly emerging product surveillance notifications, up to 30 hours of clinical review support, and one annual technical consulation. The National Poison Data System (NPDS) is owned and maintained by America's Poison Centers (APC). Based on the Government's review of the requirement. APC is the only known source capable of providing the requested NPDS data and associated services. CPSC intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 6. The sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 12 procedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any quotation/response must be in writing and can be sent via email to the Contract Specialist at dbraswell@cpsc.gov by 2 pm Eastern Time August 27, 2026. No phone calls will be accepted.
