Description

Displayed as sanitized plain text from SAM.gov. Retrieved Sep 1, 2026 10:24 PM EDT.

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Sunbelt Fire, INC., 8050 McGowin Drive, Fairhope, AL 36532, to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, engineering support, and technical expertise required to safely and fully provide and install a Bauer Air Compressor Workstation. The Primary North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423850 – Service Establishment Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. Brief Description of Requirement: To replace and upgrade Gunter fire stations’ Maco SCBA air compressor (22 years old). Upgrading to a Bauer Workstation is a critical investment in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and operational readiness of a fire department. The primary function of the Bauer Workstation is to safely fill SCBAs with high-quality, breathable air, ensuring that firefighters have a reliable and clean air supply during dangerous operations. SCBAs are critical for protecting firefighters from inhaling toxic fumes, smoke, and harmful chemicals encountered in a fire. An outdated or unreliable air supply system can compromise the health and safety of personnel by causing delays in air refilling, contamination, or failure to meet the required air pressure levels, which could lead to life-threatening situations. Must be able to supply a Bauer SCBA Air Compressor in accordance with (IAW) the specifications laid out in the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR). If interested, please respond to this notice following the attached instructions.
