The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, PerkinElmer U.S. LLC. in Shelton, CT. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to provide brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses. The Naval Medical Research Unit - Dayton (NAMRU-D) has a requirement for four (4) Spectrum Two FT-IR Spectrometer with Spectrum 10 Software, DTGS and APV combines a stabilized DTGS detector with automated performance verification for regulated and high-precision environments. 9,300:1 SNR p-p noise for 5 second scan 8300 – 350cm^-1 spectral range 0.5cm-1 resolution Automatic Performance Verification-Optional feature comprising an integrated, fully automatic filter wheel containing traceable reference materials and software allowing for abscissa, ordinate, noise, ASTM, and USP tests to be performed. Absolute Virtual Instrument Standardization-Optional AVI standardization using gas phase methane spectra ensures instruments are accurately calibrated. Unique standardization allows data to be transferred precisely between instruments, side-by-side or in remote locations. Atmospheric Vapor Compensation-Features an advanced digital filtering algorithm designed to compensate for CO2 and H2O absorptions in real time removing the need for instrument purging. SPECTRUM 10 Software The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in Systems for Award Management. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/.
