(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26226Q1379 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339114, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 750 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for high speed dental surgical handpieces for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Must: Be a High Torque 45° angle dental surgical handpiece Have a Tri-port irrigation system for delivery from multiple angles Have a titanium body Have rear exhaust design to prevent air jets from disturbing the operative site The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications.
